Hey there,
So I know its a bit late but I wanted to finally post my first ever favourites! As June is my birthday month so ergo my favourite month it seemed appropriate to be the first month. Anyway, lets get into it.
NIP AND FAB GLYCOLIC FIX SCRUB - £9.95
I had a major shake up in my skin care cabinet this month and basically cleared everything out and brought new items that really matched my skin type. This scrub has become so beneficial in my skincare arsenal, it does a great job of not only brightening my skin but helping to clear my scars too.
SUPERDRUG NATURALLY RADIANT GLYCOLIC OVERNIGHT PEEL - £5.99
This is the perfect mate to the Nip and Fab Scrub. They pair so well in terms of just really letting my best skin breakthrough. I apply it as the last step in my skincare routine and wash it off first thing in the morning and my skin feels so much tighter and brighter it's a great product at an super cheap price!
LANCOME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA 24H FOUNDATION - £30.00
This foundation is bomb. BOMB I TELL YOU! I've been using this for almost a year now so I guess its too old to be a favourite but this is the foundation I use almost all year round, I just go up or down a shade depending on the season. I have super oily skin and this does a great job of keeping my makeup in check and is great to wear on its own or use a base for a full face. Its medium coverage and really buildable. I know the price point is a bit high but Lancome is great for dark girls such as myself as the shade range is great and if you happen to be an in between shade like I often am, you'll find your match here.
INTROVERTS IN THE CHURCH: FINDING OUR PLACE IN AN EXTROVERTED CULTURE BY ADAM S McHUGH - £11.92
This book has really helped me understand that even though I'm introverted I'm still essential to my church and there's nothing wrong with me needing to take time out so I can allow myself to focus on God and the bigger picture at hand. I normally find myself feeling anxious before I go on for worship and tired at the thought of having to socialise afterwards. I'm now starting to realise that instead of stretching myself out trying to say hi and force conversation with everyone, that there's nothing wrong with me using the time to just pray or just sit in my own thoughts. To all my church going introverts, this book is key.
ANASTASIA BEVERLEY HILLS GLOW KIT IN SUN DIPPED - £38.99
For those of you who've read my review post you'll know how much I love this highlighting palette, and even though the public hype has died down, I'm still singing its praises! I really love combining Bronzed and Summer, it gives me the most beautiful glow and when the light hits I can't help but marvel at how pretty it is!
MAC PRO LONGWEAR LIP PENCIL IN BITTERSWEET - £15.50
This has been my base for almost everything I wear on my lips. Its so pigmented and creamy yet lasting and glides on like butter! Its a great base for both lighter and darker lip colours and its definitely become a makeup staple.
MUSIC MOMENT

This is a rundown of the music I've been loving this month. I'm still obsessed with Chance the Rappers album Coloring Book, the man is a genius there is NO denying that. I've also been enjoying Tom Misch and I'm so excited for his new EP to drop! Chloe x Halle are just goals in every way and its crazy to imagine that they're so talented at this age, it makes you wonder how much better they'll be in 10 years time!
So I hope you guys enjoyed my long due favourites and I'll be back next month with the next round. I hope you're all having a great summer so far and I'll see you next week!
Until next time,
Natalie x
